Joni attended the University of Louisville in 2001 and obtained an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Urban Planning. She also graduated from the Brandeis School of Law at UofL in 2006. Joni has a background in real estate law, planning and zoning, estate planning, elder law, and small business planning. She takes pride in building relationships and providing each of her clients with personal attention, clear communication, timely assistance, and excellent results. Interestingly, Joni has lived in some amazing places including Washington D.C., Virginia, New Mexico, and Prague, Czech Republic. She has traveled all around the world, but Oldham County, Kentucky will always be home.
Kendra graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2017 with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration. Following undergrad, Kendra attended Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University. During her time in law school, she obtained a judicial clerkship in the Clark County Circuit Court where she attended court proceedings and subsequently conducted legal research to write memos, draft proposed orders, and review pleadings. Following this clerkship, Kendra externed for the Department of Public Advocacy in Boone County, Kentucky. In this role, she assisted Public Defenders in providing legal representation to indigent persons of all ages, accused of crimes, or facing various deprivations of liberty.
During the Summer of 2018 Kendra spent a few months serving in Refugee Camps in Athens Greece, she worked with refugees from all around the world who were living in stage 1 and 2 refugee camps. There she spent her time teaching English classes, assisting refugees in filling visa forms, and aiding in youth development programs. Kendra chose to join the legal profession because it is a profession that gives her the ability to use her legal knowledge and skills to help others, something she has have always been passionate about.
